Your role and responsibilities Adventurous. With a lot of freedom. Then working hard, then relaxing at home. Sounds like the job of a marine skipper. And that is perhaps what this position of Service Engineer Marine at ABB can best be compared to. The difference? With us, you know you're in the safe hands of a widely respected multinational.

What will you be doing at ABB?

A cruise ship in distress! The propulsion system has stalled! In the evening you are called up. The very next afternoon you leave. Plane, helicopter, other tickets, everything has been arranged for you. You have just had time to read up on the problems, take in technical information, possibly discuss the solution with your colleagues. And... before you know it, your next trip is scheduled. To an oil platform in the middle of the sea, problems with compressors. Costing the customer loads of money. Again, you provide the solution. As a Service Engineer Marine at ABB, no day is ever the same. Long and very intensive days too. But extremely satisfying. Because your work makes an impact. How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
